We have yet to find any link within
the Bernard Sterner line.
I have
traced my line to Schuylkill County
Pennsylvania to Albert and Susan
(Hoskins) both born in 1842. They
had 4 children: Joseph (1869)
George (1870 - 1954) Edith (1875)
and Winfield Scott (1881 - 1948).
George is my Great Grand Father.
Upon
Albert's death in 1893, all but
Joseph moved to Potter County
Pennsylvania - they spread out amoug
various townships: Coudersport,
Ullysess, Austin and Emporium. To
Date, my father has retired to the
home George bought at the turn of
the century in Austin Pa. During
extensive renovation various
artifacts were discovered. |
